A Good Tired
Maggie Sabatier-Smith July 10, 2020Drinking from a fire hose. Not a very original expression but it perfectly describes these past three days at the Speak Up Conference. Full to overflowing, I find it difficult to end this day. A mountaintop experience I just want to

Maggie Sabatier-Smith July 9, 2020Vision Leads… What do your eyes of faith see? Are you willing to take that next step?
The last few days have been a time of refueling – spiritually and mentally. Also, a time to explore next steps in my ministry.

Maggie Sabatier-Smith July 8, 2020Finish line in sight, we set big audacious goals. There’s clarity – we know why we want this. There’s a plan. There’s accountability. There’s action. But then… distractions. Oops, we missed a day. Disappointment shows up with very unflattering things to say.

For as long as I can remember my dream was to become a writer. What does that look like? Why a writer? To be honest, I never thought beyond those words. I just knew that I had to write. It was in the doing that purpose would show up. I guess if I looked behind the curtain (my wall of insecurity), I would admit that I wanted to be published. Maggie Sabatier-Smith April 5, 2019“Someone is dying to hear what you have to say”, these are words I shared with a fellow writer recently. Most know the idiomatic expression – dying to – means to be very eager. It’s a light and carefree expression that speaks of enthusiasm and anticipation.
But what if it were true? What if there was someone who was dying emotionally, spiritually, or physically, and you held the key to their very next decision?

Maggie Sabatier-Smith February 26, 2019Aging is a given. Life without purpose and meaning is not. You wouldn’t show up at your job and just hang around until it was time to go home –just filling space.
Jesus tells us in John 10:10 that He came that we would have and enjoy life – in abundance – to overflowing. So, I ask, how’s life working for you? When you walk into a room, do you know that you make a difference? Is your abundance showing or are you just taking up space?
