Change happens – no doubt about that. It happens to us and sometimes we (you) create the change. As a result of the change, you can choose to alter your next steps, or for many, just circle-back and let it happen all over again. Been there?
As a Health & Lifestyle Coach I hear many stories about change. In fact, I have an honored front row seat in people’s lives as they move through these changes. My all time favorite change is the one that creates TRANSFORMATION. That’s the change that locks-in your resolve and moves you to a Can Do! mindset. It does require a bit more effort. Meet my client and friend Debbie… she says the effort is worth it!
Debbie began as a Life Coaching client. It took several weeks before we uncovered that she had some mission-impossible mindsets to overcome. One of them was her weight. She considered that her goal to achieve a healthy weight was a “dream” one she had lost hope in achieving. With a Type II Diabetes onset diagnosis, she was propelled by fear to engage me as her Health Coach to reach her ideal weight goals.
Debbie lost 60 lbs in 7 months (results not typical). From 215 lbs to 152 lbs; several sizes down and the best part “Diabetes Type II gone in 6 weeks!”
To this she says “I am abundantly grateful! I pray God uses His work through me to bless you.”
Debbie wants to pay it forward and is doing so by continually sharing her story.
“I offer this personal transparency and vulnerability to give hope to those who need and want it. If God can do this through and for me, He can and will do this for you too!”
Her story doesn’t end here. It’s a life-long journey toward Optimal Health – which includes Body, Mind, Spirit and Finances. These pieces cannot be separated. She is actively engaged in learning and adopting the Habits of Health. She is operating in the power of a made-up mind!
This success inspired her next goal… running a 5K!! Doors open once we take our steps towards God’s next personal best for us. It takes faith and a clear VISION for what lies ahead. Debbie could not have anticipated this desire to run a 5K when she first started. As she journeyed toward her best health possible this new goal surfaced.
What about you? What’s your next goal to your best health… best life possible? Won’t you comment here and celebrate with Debbie? Let’s cheer her on! Go Debbie!!!
