An extra night in Tucson… priceless! Creating precious memories with family as we did a bit of sight-seeing and sampled some of our family’s favorite foods. More than anything it was about quality time together – my personal love language. We leave today for Flagstaff as we continue our RV travel adventure but we leave behind the promise of future visits.
For those that like to track the places we’ve been, Biosphere 2 was an amazing experience. My personal favorite there was the Tropical Rain Forest. The engineering and the science behind the entire project is brilliant! What was even more amazing to me was that one of our grandsons “chose” to spend more time with us and brought his girlfriend with him. Very cool! We really lucked out the first night in Tucson as both boys were off from work. This was a special treat for sure!
For my food-loving readers… Have you heard about the Sonoran Hot Dog? El Guero Canelo boasts the record of being the Best Sonoran hot dog in Tucson! Yes, I did have one. When in Tucson… Taylor, our grand daughter was back from her travels and was able to join us. Beautiful Chica!!
Rosa’s Mexican Restaurant came in very close to my local favorite back in Lakeland, FL. This is Stephanie Ann’s favorite Mexican restaurant; so glad she shared this treasure with us. First time ever tasting a green corn tamale! Wow!
It’s time to pack-up. Sad to leave – so many conversations yet to be had; so many more experiences to be shared. Grateful for all the technology we have that keeps us connected across the miles. Love to our Arizona Family… we miss you already!
