Quiet – Taking Time Out to Refuel

Five days + Five States

We have arrived in Indianapolis and are looking forward to some quality time with family and friends. But first… some rest and relaxation.

We’ve done a great job of eating healthy and hydrating but with all those hours in the RV, we haven’t stretched or walked as much as our bodies needed. The late night meals haven’t helped our sleep much either. Icy Hot is my friend <<smile>>. No worries – we’ll make a few adjustments over the next few days in Indy and will hopefully be back to normal. As Health Coaches we know that it’s not just about nutrition. Habits of Health include body + mind + spirit + finances, all of these, ideally balanced create our best life possible. Throw in some of the silly laughter and quality family/friend time and well, we have a winner lifestyle!

Didn’t see that coming…

Paul & Beagle Bailey Fishing

Paul & Beagle Bailey Fishing

  • As many know, Paul and I are opposites. I’m a morning person. He’s a night owl. I love my quiet morning times and he pushes the boundaries of the midnight hour. On this trip, he’s been up early too! Sharing my quiet time, well that’s truly an act of love on my part. I confess that the word “Shush!” has crossed my mind a few times (maybe it even slipped out once or twice) but who can resist that smile. I’m always amazed at the observations he makes – we see things with a different set of eyes. He notices so many details and I see deep into hearts. What a package deal!
  • Another surprise… After 18 years of marriage I had no idea how much Paul likes to fish! He not only packed his fishing gear but he also bought me my own. How does this tie together? Guess who’s fishing in the pond you see above? Guess who has her quiet time all to herself?

Cross Country traveling is not just about the beautiful scenery. There is so much more involved with spending that much time with another person + combining individual goals to create a unique picture of our ideal trip. Add to that the fact that in all things we allow God to lead the way. We plan and He makes the modifications. We’ve already experienced a few changes – some we just did not understand at the time – but make total sense to us right now.

Listening for HIS voice...

Listening for HIS voice…

So as I spend this precious time with the Lord and some of it with you, I am so incredibly in awe of all He has done in our lives and the lives of those we love and care for. We get to work at what we love and honor God in the process! His word encourages us to do “all” as unto the Lord. Whether in business, ministry or our day-to-day lives – all of it, is to honor Him. I’ve Coached several clients already and we have a “business” camping appointment lined up for Michigan. Love the FREEDOM our career choice offers. Called To Action is not only Called To Health but we are Called to this great RV Cross-Country Connect Tour Road Trip!

Thank you for following along with us. We look forward to your comments below and your continued prayers as we travel the country.

Blessings,

Maggie
