Core Values Matter!

Core values matter….  they're not seasonal; they are not branding; they are commitments made in integrity to ourselves and to God.

Core Values Matter! It is easy for Business Owners to get lost in the latest trend of "what sells". On the internet we look to Google to tell us what people are looking for, what matters most to the majority. Often leaders use their core values as a rallying point for their employees. Some marketers believe that your website should clearly display the truths that your company stands on. Others, focused on political correctness, suggest that we stay away from being too vocal about what matters most.

What does matter? Many years ago I went through a personal epiphany, my ah-ha moment. On the heals of a personal crisis Read the rest of this entry »

Celebrating… Grateful…

Trusting God's economy…

Celebrating our First Year in our downtown Lakeland Office Location!

Talk about stepping out of my comfort zone!!!

One of the advantages of being a Leadership Coach is that I can work from anywhere. Most of my work is done over the phone or at my client's office. I've been known to coach many leaders at Panera Bread… nothing like an oatmeal cookie and Hazelnut coffee to bring out extraordinarily powerful coaching questions! Comfortable in this free-spirit arrangement, imagine my surprise when I began to feel a tug to set down roots and move out of my home office and into a more formal setting!

Dressed for success was Adam’s approach to reaching his vision. Apparently he watched a program where the hero was dressed in white. Wouldn’t it be great if life were that easy, that all we had to do was discover the outfit that would guarantee our success?

What about you? Are you looking to other people to define yourself?

Are you still playing dress-up?

Discover Your Call to Action

How many of us really understand what's at the very core of who we are?  From an early age we are asked, 'What are you going to be when you grow up?'.  Rarely are we taught to look inward first – to discover our unique personalities – to explore what matters most to us.

Before you can embrace a Vision for your future, you must first understand YOU, your unique wiring.

Organizations have mission statements – why not you?
Get clear on your "YES!", so you can get focused on what drives you; and so you can easily say "NO!" to what does not belong in your life. Read the rest of this entry »

Google – Truth Finder or Not? Authenticity

In the midst of a busy morning I was suddenly prompted to do a Google Search on my name as well as on Called To Action. Wow! We are everywhere it seems.

While certainly encouraging in terms of getting our name out on the cyber channels, it was also a bit unsettling.

Do I really want this much information made public? Read the rest of this entry »
